Overview

The Libré Communications product is an easy to use Event Broadcast and Management System. The product consists of three distinct parts.

  • Broadcast Encoder - used to capture and upload standard or high definition video of a live event
  • Web Application - used to manage events, invite viewers, view statistics, billing and much more
  • Desktop Application - used by your viewers to seamlessly connect to and view a live event you have invited them to

In order to get these three distinct parts working together you only need to carry out the following simple steps:

  1. Use the web application to register for an account. This registers your encoder with the Libré Communications system. See Registration Process for more info.
  2. Connect a camera feed to the broadcast encoder, connect the encoder to the Internet and ensure both are powered on. See Equipment Setup for more info.
  3. Create a new event broadcast with the web application. This instructs the encoder when to start and stop capturing and uploading live video content from the camera feed. See Event Scheduling for more info.
  4. Use the web application to invite people to watch the event you scheduled. This will send each person an email containing a link they can use to access the event. See Sending out invites for more info.
  5. Sit back and relax in the knowledge that you have just setup a globally viewable event.
  6. NB: If your viewers forget to logon and watch the event live, don't worry as all event broadcasts are auto-archived so they can be viewed at a later date, if required.
