Equipment Setup
Prerequisites
- Ethernet - Internet enabled network with DHCP.
- Camera Feed - For supported connectors and modes see below.[1]
- Power - Automatic support for both 110V and 220V sources.
- Connect the ethernet cable to the back of the encoder.
- Connect the video source to the back of the encoder
- Connect the power cable to the back of the encoder.
[1] Supported video modes and connections:
- Digital Video Input: HDMI as 525 NTSC, 625 PAL, 720HD and 1080HD switchable.
- Analog Video Input: Component, NTSC, PAL or S-Video.
- Digital Audio Input: HDMI, SPDIF
- Analog Audio Input: RCA audio (Stereo)
- Dual Rate Support: HDMI and Analog Component switches between high definition and standard definition.
- HD Formats: 1080i50, 1080i59.94, 1080p23.98, 1080p24, 720p50 and 720p59.94.
- SD Formats: 625i/50 PAL and 525i/59.94 NTSC.
- Audio Format: Stereo, 48kHz, sampling at 24 bit per sample.
NB: Copy Protection: For legal reasons HDMI input is unable to capture from copy protected HDMI sources. Always confirm copyright ownership before capture or distribution of content.
